Zoneton Santa truck visits elementary school students
Children in Bullitt County had some special visitors to get them in the Christmas spirit.The Zoneton Santa truck stopped by Freedom Elementary School Tuesday morning.The fire department decks out one of its trucks with 80,000 lights and a sound system to play Christmas music.The firefighters drive it to different neighborhoods at night during the holiday.”The kids were excited. We didn’t know how it was going to go a year ago. They loved it and looked forward to it, so now all the elementary schools in our district we go and on the last few days of school before their break and let ’em see it,” said Steven Corbin, with Zonetone Fire District.This is the 26th year for the Santa truck.
