Blanchard Racing Team hunting crew chief

THE Blanchard Racing Team is looking to add to its ranks for the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, if not earlier.

The Box Hill squad has begun formally hunting for a crew chief.

Per a job advertisement posted to Seek yesterday, it’s wanting a crew chief as soon as possible, with the “primary responsibility of overseeing the workshop and preparation to get our Mustangs racing.”

It is desiring an applicant with three years’ leadership/mechanical experience in “Supercars or another high-level motorsport series team environment”.

Amid growing pains involved with expanding to a fully-fledged two-car main game outfit, BRT has rebuilt its off-track roster with key appointments including team manager Kate Harrington and race engineer Matt Saunders.

It has also forged an alliance with leading Ford squad Walkinshaw Andretti United, with Saunders spotted in regular conversation with WAU technical director Terry Kerr at the recent Tasmania SuperSprint.

While on-track results have been few and far between in 2024, BRT has clearly made gains in the lane as evidenced by it qualifying for the Pirtek Pit Stop Challenge finals.

Primary drivers James Courtney and Aaron Love will be partnered by Jack Perkins and Aaron Cameron respectively at the upcoming Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000.
