Time to dig into the history books again. This week’s quiz is about 1950s motorcycles. Some of these bikes may have been in production before or after the 1950s, but they were all in production during the 1950s—hopefully that makes sense!
Although we hear a lot of press about how the Japanese changed everything when they brought their machines to western markets starting in the 1960s, the 1950s were also a great era of innovation in motorcycling—the problem for many OEMs was that they didn’t innovate enough, and were content to rest on their laurels, building machines very similar to the bikes they made before World War II. You may see some of those machines in this quiz!
