The 1st Annual Cars for Cause Alpine Car Show, proudly presented by Alpine’s family-owned La Carreta Restaurant, is set for Sunday, Dec. 10.
The event, which takes place at Alpine Town Center (1347 Tavern Road, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), is dedicated to raising awareness and support for those on the autistic spectrum, proceeds will be donated to support the NFAR Organization Supporting autistic.
With more than 50 classic cars showcased to the public, a public raffle, car judging, a full bar and taco cart at La Carretta, a live DJ playing classic rock music, local businesses supplying food, drinks, a market to shop, and kids corner to take pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Clause, face paintings, kid activities, and more.
This event holds a special place in the hearts of the Alpine community as one of the La Carreta owners, Luis Valencia, has a son who is autistic.
The Valencia family has reportedly learned invaluable lessons through their experiences, and they are now determined to share their journey and spread awareness. Augustine, their bright, unique, and inspiring son, has become a gift to the entire family, motivating them to celebrate and advocate for this cause.
